Nokia mobile have Launched 3 New Classic Handsets in 2009

Nokia has just announced three new handsets - the Nokia 6700 classic, the 6303 classic and the 2700 classic. The new trio combines functionality with premium designs and materials that make them not only easy on the eyes but on the pocket as well.

Leading the new colle
ction is the Nokia 6
700 classic, which continues the legacy of the Nokia 6300.

"The Nokia 6300 raised the bar in terms of desi
gn and premium materials when it arrived in 2006 and topped all sales records for a mid-range mobile phone. The Nokia 6700 moves that bar even higher with a beautiful, slim design and perfectly balanced
practicality," said Soren Petersen, Senior Vice President, Nokia. "Our new arrival shares the same 'DNA' as its predece
ssor and we believe that it will be one of our best selling devices in 2009," continued Petersen.
The Nokia 6700 combines smooth surfaces, rich materials and precisely crafted parts with a full metal keymat which completes the premium finish. Other features include –
  • A 5 megapixel camera,
  • assisted GPS navigation with Nokia Maps,
  • 2.2 inch TFT LCD (240x320 pixel resolution),
  • 3G support with HSDPA
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • USB 2.0 (micro)
  • FM with RDS
Let’s hope the battery lasts longer as that was one of the key issues with the 6300.

The second handset is the Nokia 6303 classic, that comes loaded with -
  • a 3.2 megapixel camera
  • 2.2 inch screen (240 x 320 pixels)
  • pre-loaded Nokia Maps
  • 3.5 mm audio jack
  • GPRS/EDGE
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • FM radio
